Week Twenty-Six: Slow Down

Have you ever noticed the tension between the way we often operate from a place of urgency and compulsion in our everyday lives, versus the gentle yet powerful invitation to slow down and embrace presence that is available to us? Our tendency for things to happen quickly can result in stress and overwhelm - something I've experienced deeply myself. But when we surrender into slowness with reverence, accepting only this moment as life, an incredible shift happens within us. In additional to journaling, I want to share with you my reflections on how to cultivate this wisdom using a quote from a great teacher of mine as our guide: So let's take a few breaths together here and now, settle into presence and explore how slowing down might be transformational for leaders like yourself.
